Elite spring type wheat cultivars for the Western Cape

Pannar is focussing strongly on its dryland wheat breeding program for the Western Cape. Pannar's mega plot wheat trials are looking good and include many promising new spring type cultivars.

A demonstration plot has been planted at the Nampo Cape site and includes the stalwart PAN 3471, as well as five new spring type cultivars. Dr Andre du Toit, Pannar Seed's wheat breeder, will be present at the demonstration site and discuss the new cultivars. Pannar's pipeline is very promising!
