PAN 3P-924PW produced excellent results near Prieska

South Africa's farmers are tops! Just look at this yield – with an average of more than 20 tonnes per hectare, PAN 3P-924PW performed supberbly under irrigation. PAN 3P-924PW is a new yellow hybrid with PowerCore™ technology that provides broad-spectrum protection against Maize Stalk Borer and Spotted Maize Stem Borer. It is stacked with glyphosate herbicide tolerance for excellent insect and weed control. The unique combination of three different Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) proteins contained in PowerCore™ technology offers improved insect control against aboveground lepidopteran pests.

This good yield was harvested by JJ Gouws at Spitskop near Prieska in a strip trial. The PAN 3P-924PW was planted on 9 December 2022 at 95,000 plants per hectare in 0.76 m rows, on land where wheat was previously grown. The PAN 3P-924PW was harvested on the 13^th of June at a moisture percentage of 13.7% – slightly drier than most of the other hybrids in the trial.
