PAN 6R-879BR is a white hybrid in the medium growth class and is well adapted to the high potential areas of the western production region. It features second-generation stalk borer protection and glyphosate tolerance. It maintains excellent stability and tends to be moderately prolific and with its flex ear can compensate by producing a larger yield under favourable growing conditions. It is well adapted to high potential soils and is recommended at a plant population 10 – 20% higher than normal due to its moderate prolificacy. This hybrid has upright leaves and excellent standability. It exhibits good tolerance to Northern Corn Leaf Blight (NCLB).
