Soybean cultivar selection is one of the most important production decisions

Choosing the right soybean cultivars to plant is one of the most important decisions a farmer has to make. Over the long term, it was established that soybean cultivars in the growth classes MG 5 to 7 were the best adapted to the temperate production areas. The western production area (Northwest and Western Free State) is also part of the temperate production area, although it usually receives sufficient rain later in the season to be able to plant. A package made up of the following cultivars should give you the best chance for success: PAN 1644R (MG 6.7), PAN 1521R (MG 5.7), PAN 1555R (MG 5.7), PAN 1586R (MG 5.9) and PAN 1688R (MG 5.9).
