Here, Losberg Study Group's white- and yellow joint maize trials are being planted between Potchefstroom and Fochville. Stephan le Roux, Pannar's representative in Potchefstroom, says: "If rain is forecasted for the whole week, one must plant if there is an opportunity – even if it means that we have to plant until late in the evening and it’s raining all around us.”
