Wheat Cultivar PAN 3161 in Hoopstad

Hannelie Tait, Pannar's representative in Hoopstad, shared this very beautiful planting under dryland production of PAN 3161. PAN 3161 was planted in 45 cm rows at 25 kg/ha in May.

PAN 3161 is a true winter-type wheat cultivar that is well adapted to all the dryland production areas of the Free State. It has exceptional seedling vigour and standability. The cultivar shows good tolerance to Russian wheat aphid. Pannar's dryland package consists of true winter types and intermediate wheat cultivars.
